Candle care

The best way to enjoy this beautiful candle is to burn for 3-4 hours on the first burn, then 2-4 hours thereafter.  The reason for this is that soy wax has a form of memory, If you don’t allow the candle to burn long enough and reach the sides of the glass on the first burn, they will only ever burn to that first ring; This is why candles can hollow out creating a tunnel effect, leaving wax on the sides.  If you leave the candle burning longer than 4 hours, this could result in the wax becoming too hot, the essential oils will reach their flash point and evaporate off, leaving you with fewer aromas.  You should trim the wick to 1cm if the wick is large and bulbous, your candles can burn up to 25% longer if you keep it trimmed.

Keep your candle away from drafts, open windows, air conditioning units and fans etc, moving air can disturb the flame resulting in an uneven burn pool and may leave black marks on your vessel.

Look after your candle by using a candle topper (lid) when it’s not in use, when you use a lid you are stopping them from collecting dust and you are also keeping the candle from drying out and losing its fragrance.

Diffuser care

Give your bottle a swirl to mix the ingredients.

Remove the decorative screw cap and bung, and then screw the decorative cap back on to the bottle.

Immerse your reeds into the liquid and allow them to soak up the oil.

After 1 day flip the reeds to allow them to become totally absorbed.

You can flip the reeds once a week if you feel they need a boost of fragrance, but be aware that the more you do this, the quicker your oil will absorb.

Keep out of reach of pets and small children

Do not light the reeds

Do not ingest the liquid

Avoid placing in areas where the bottle can be easily knocked over

We recommend using a coaster as the oil can damage wood and porous surfaces if spilled.

Diffuser essential oils are flammable, do not light and keep away from open flames. Always wipe clean the bottom of your bottle before setting on any surface.
